Why I have created this website

I have received ethical approval from the Ethics Committee of my university so I am at the stage of searching for participants who might be interested in taking part in my research. Any testimonial collected during my research will not be made public through this website and anything said will be strictly confidential and anonymised. I feel obligated in safeguarding the wellbeing of my participants, following the guidelines of the Code of ethics and conduct of the British Psychological Society (BPS):

'This code is based on four ethical principles, which constitute the main domains of responsibility within which ethical issues are considered. These are: respect; competence; responsibility; and integrity' (Code of ethics and conduct,  BPS, 2009, p.9)

You can get more information on several topics (LGBT, multiple sclerosis, qualitative research,  etc.) in this website. Feel free to explore and read through the material offered. This is an evolving project, much like my research. Thus, it will be updated frequently and I have the feeling it will change as time goes by.
